MAD Magazine coming to the iPad on April 1st

Being an avid fan of and subscriber to MAD Magazine as a kid, I’m pretty excited that MAD Magazine is officially coming to the App Store this Sunday, April 1st. The magazine specializing in spoofs, satire, and other highly entertaining forms of humor will come as a free app with the ability to purchase issues within for $4.99 for the current issue and $1.99 for previous issues. There will also be the option to purchase an in-app subscription to the magazine for $9.99/year or $1.99/issue.
The digital version of MAD will feature all of the great features that are loved about the print version, including the famous fold-ins (which will be animated) and MAD Marginals (which will be zoomable).
The app is set to make it onto the App Store this April Fools Day, which is certainly no coincidence.
